Insights-client on RHEL 8 system displays false motd message that the system is not registered

Issue

  • Even when the system is registered to Red Hat Insights, when login into RHEL 8 system displays the below message

    This system is not registered to Red Hat Insights. See https://cloud.redhat.com/ 
To register this system, run: insights-client --register
