Unit nas.mount entered failed state

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • systemd claims that a mount unit fails when I unmount the NFS mount manually:
Sep 25 11:48:43 nfs-client systemd: Unit nas.mount entered failed state.
  • The NFS mount is in fstab and it's mounted automatically on the system boot:
$ cat /etc/fstab | grep nas
nas01:/share /nas nfs nfsvers=3,rw,hard,bg,tcp,timeo=600,rsize=65536,wsize=65536,intr 0 0

Environment

  • systemd-219-19.el7_2.9
