vi(m)'s swap file is always remained on particular partition. We don't have any settings to create swap file. Why does this happen?

- vi(m)'s swap file is always remained on particular partition. We don't have any settings to create swap file. Why does this happen?
- After I changed an authentication method, the issue does not appear. Why?
