Supportabliity for NPIV (N-Port-ID) with IBM Power7

Issue

We would like to know if RHEL 5 support NPIV OS installation on IBM Power7 HW.
We use Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 Installation ISO file.
And, please let us know if it's supported in RHEL 6.
