JBoss EAP CLI command returns Can't reset to root in the middle of the path @1

Issue

When executing a JBoss CLI command the following error occurs:

./bin/jboss-cli.sh -c --file=test.cli
Can't reset to root in the middle of the path @1

And the test.cliis as follows

if (outcome == success) of //system-property=jboss.as.management.blocking.timeout:read-resource
    /system-property=jboss.as.management.blocking.timeout:add(value=300)
else
    echo Didn't work
end-if
