Why does my cluster log the message "daemon cpg_join error retrying"?
Issue
- My cluster shows all nodes as online but I am unable to start any cluster services like cman or rgmanager
- When I start cman it hangs at
Starting Fencing - I see errors like this in the logs:
fenced[3532]: fenced 3.0.12.1 started
dlm_controld[4064]: dlm_controld 3.0.12.1 started
gfs_controld[402]: gfs_controld 3.0.12.1 started
fenced[3532]: cpg_join error retrying
dlm_controld[4064]: daemon cpg_join error retrying
gfs_controld[402]: daemon cpg_join error retrying
