How to configure CUPS to use a CA-signed SSL certificate in RHEL

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • By default, CUPS uses a self-signed SSL certificate. How can it be configured to use a certificate signed by an internal certificate authority?
  • We would like to set up an encrypted SSL connection between the print client and a CUPS server that does not use the standard self-signed certificate that is created by CUPS.
