Received signal 15, shutting down cleanly

Issue

  • Earlier this morning the browser was working. Next an update from Red Hat 2.6.18-348.el5 to 2.6.18-371.el5 was done. The browser no longer works at all after the update was completed. A switch back to the previous kernel 2.6.18-348.el5 was done.The browser still does no longer work making gnome session restarted.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.10
    • Dell Precision T5500 (The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation is running on a Dell T5500n machine. )
    • dell-nvidia-180.29 Drivers
