  • When executing a systemctl command to administer a service, the following message is displayed

    Error registering authentication agent: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Error.Failed: Cannot determine user of subject (polkit-error-quark, 0)

  • The systemctl command executes successfully anyway

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.8
    • polkit-0.112-18.el7 and later
    • /proc mounted with hidepid=2 option
