What are factors affecting the time required by fsck?
Issue
- Can Red Hat tell us how long
fsckwill take to run on, for example: say for a 1GB file system? - What factors can affect this duration? e.g. will a single lun (1 x 100GB) fsck faster than multiple lun (10 x 10 GB)
- Can fsck be performed
concurrentlyfor different file systems at the same time? Will this be faster?
