I can not properly register a VMware guest via subscription manager and using a "System:Virtual" subscription.

Issue

I can not properly register a VMware guest via subscription manager and using a "System:Virtual" subscription.
I registered a system via subscription manager. When using a subscription for a Physical system, the status screen in the customer center shows the system as "properly subscribed", but using a subscription for a Virtual system, the status is "System is not properly subscribed".
