smartd reports errors for cleanly removed disks from the system.
Issue
- Following errors are being reported in
/var/log/messageseven after devices are removed.
Jan 6 09:47:16 hostname smartd[4491]: Device: /dev/sdb, open() failed: No such device
Jan 6 09:47:16 hostname smartd[4491]: Device: /dev/sdc, open() failed: No such device
