What is the meaning of following error message?

nfs_stat_to_errno: bad nfs status return value: 35

We have a server with plenty NFS mounted on it (all working it seems) but we are getting hit with the error:
```
kernel: nfs_stat_to_errno: bad nfs status return value: 4
