Does MySQL supports replication between older 5.0.45 and newer version 5.1.47 ?

  • We are using MySQL replication with MySQL Version 5.0.45. This replication is going on more than one server, does MySQL supports replications between older 5.0.45 and newer version 5.1.47.
  • Do we first upgrade Master and then Slave or First Slave and then Master.
