How to disable disk-caching (read an write) for one specific ext3/ext4 filesystem for Oracle?
Issue
- Do not need files to be cached in memory
- All access to the files are sequential read and write which can easily handled
- The time between creation of the files and actually reading them is long, they are never in cache when needed.
- How to disable disk-caching (read and write) for one specific ext3/ext4 filesystem for Oracle?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (ALL)
- Oracle database.
