Why Audit sends the message 'name_count maxed, losing inode data:' to the kernel log?

On RHEL 5, sometimes I notice messages similar as follows in
dmesgoutput or kernel log:name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=fd:04, inode=98305
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
