LVM commands show error - '/dev/sdX: open failed: No medium found' on one specific device
Issue

LVM command showing error as follows:
$ pvs /dev/sdX: open failed: No medium found PV VG Fmt Attr PSize PFree /dev/sda3 vg00 lvm2 a-- 277.86g 0 /dev/sdc vg01 lvm2 a-- 279.36g 69.36g
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- Generic- Model: SD/MMC CRW
- Exception:
- HPE ProLiant, Synergy and Apollo Gen10 Server Platforms: Follow the directions in: "HPE Advisory: Certain Servers Present an Empty USB Card Reader Device to the Operating System" to correct the platform's configuration information and prevent the issue. (Or use the workaround within the Resolution section below.)
- The device disable setting is located in the Platform Configuration (RBSU) menu of HPE servers:
[System Options] -> [USB Options] -> [Internal SD Card Slot]
