iSCSI connection fails intermittently with error "Kernel reported iSCSI connection 1:0 error (1011) state (1)"

The connectivity to iSCSI devices fails periodically and following error messages are getting logged in

This issue continued even after disabling
tcp_window_scalingas per the steps in solution 45167 and increasing the iSCSI initiator timeout values as per the solution 36141
