rpcbind.socket fails to start when rebooting overcloud node

Issue

  • When rebooting overcloud nodes, we see that rpcbind.socket get failed status

  • The following error is shown in $ sudo systemctl status rpcbind.socket

    systemd:rpcbind.socket failed to listen on sockets: Address family not supported by protocol
systemd:Job rpcbind.service/start failed with result 'dependency'.
systemd:Unit rpcbind.socket entered failed state.

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform 13
  • KernelDisableIPv6: true is configured in deployment templates
