Is a non-PAE kernel provided for RHEL 5 or 6?
Issue
- In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, a 32 bit kernel has PAE enabled by default to allow access to more than 4GB of system memory.
- Is this same with RHEL 5 kernel? I am looking for the kernel in RHEL 5 or 6 without PAE enabled.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, version 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, version 6
- 32-bit architecture
