• PHP 5.1, 5.2

Issue

• We want to move from PHP version 5.1 to 5.2 in RHEL 5, is that possible?
• Does RHEL 5 support versions of PHP higher than 5.1?

Resolution

The default version of PHP shipped with RHEL 5 is 5.1. PHP 5.3 is provided as an alternative option. PHP 5.2 is not shipped or supported.
