On RHEL 8, logs are flooded with message "systemd-udevd[XXX]: Process '/sbin/modprobe -bv sg' failed with exit code 1."

Issue

  • On RHEL 8, a lot of messages related to SCSI generic (sg) driver can be seen. The messages are of the following format :
