Why 'already mounted or busy' messages are reported for mpath device mounted using LABEL in /etc/fstab?
Issue
- blkid.tab causes 'already mounted or busy' for mpath device which are mounted using LABEL
- kickstart does something funky with /etc/blkid/blkid.tab
- After a re-kickstart the command
blkid -l -t LABEL=<labelname>, will show a /dev/sdX device instead of showing the /dev/mapper/mpathX device.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5
- multipathd
