Boot hangs for qcow2 cloud image of RHEL8 with message "probing edd (edd=off to disable)... ok"
Issue
- After creating a guest from a RHEL 8 qcow2 cloud image in KVM or RHEV, boot hangs on the following message:
probing edd (edd=off to disable)... ok
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8
- KVM or RHEV
- qcow2 image built for OSP/cloud
