Network down. These messages "ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready" seen.

Issue

An Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Update2 system runs on VMware ESX 3.5.0 as a guest OS. Network down frequently and get some messages like below, so I have to restart network to recover this problem.

Aug  5 07:59:44 cnsh040429 syslogd: sendto: Network is unreachable
Aug  5 07:59:44 cnsh040429 kernel: e1000: eth0: e1000_watchdog_task: NIC Link is Up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: None
Aug  5 07:59:44 cnsh040429 kernel: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
