Issue

  • gnome-session-binary Segmentation fault with long shell environment present in user's profile.
  • After logging in with proper credentials, user receives black screen followed by login prompt again.

  • After user login attempt, log contains WARNING: Lost name on bus: org.gnome.SessionManager

    gnome-session-binary[2624]: WARNING: Application 'org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.<APPLICATION>.desktop' killed by signal 15
gnome-session: gnome-session-binary[2624]: WARNING: Lost name on bus: org.gnome.SessionManager
