Message 'requirement "uid >= 1000" not met by user "root"' being logged on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
Issue
The following is logged in /var/log/secure, and the root user is not able to login:
sshd[19003]: pam_succeed_if(sshd:auth): requirement "uid >= 1000" not met by user "root"
