kernel shows error - 'md0: resync interrupted' on nvme devices

Issue

  • kernel shows below errors for mdraid array on nvme device:

     kernel: md: md0: resync interrupted.
     kernel: md: super_written gets error=-5, uptodate=0
     kernel: md/raid1:md0: Disk failure on nvme1n1, disabling device.#012md/raid1:md0: Operation continuing on 1 devices.
    

    And /proc/mdstat shows one drive failed in mdraid array

    # cat proc/mdstat 
    Personalities : [raid1] 
    md0 : active (auto-read-only) raid1 nvme0n1[0] <==
       3750607168 blocks super 1.2 [2/1] [U_] <==
        resync=PENDING
       bitmap: 28/28 pages [112KB], 65536KB chunk
    unused devices: <none>
