Issue

  • Snmp daemon fails to restart with the error 'dlopen failed: /usr/lib/libcmaX.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'

  • Following errors are seen in /var/log/messages while restarting snmpd

     snmpd[1844]: Received TERM or STOP signal...  shutting down... 
 snmpd[2031]: dlopen failed: /usr/lib/libcmaX.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory 
 snmpd[2031]: NET-SNMP version 5.3.2.2
