Issue

  • journal: g_object_set: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed or Error setting property 'LoginFrequency' messages are logged in /var/log/messages at the time of login.

  • In journal, the messages are written from gnome-shell.

    (1)  gnome-shell[1343]: Error setting property 'LoginFrequency' on interface org.freedesktop.Accounts.User: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: Property 'LoginFrequency' is not writable (g-dbus-error-quark, 16)
(2)  gnome-shell[3648]: g_object_set: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

  • The messages are written after update to following packages.

    accountsservice-0.6.45-3.el7_4.1.x86_64.rpm  
accountsservice-libs-0.6.45-3.el7_4.1.x86_64.rpm
