Subscription-manager register fails with the error "Your identity certificate has expired"

Issue

  • When trying to register a new host to the Satellite Server or to the Customer Portal, subscription-manager fails with the error: "Your identity certificate has expired".

  • yum fails with ExpiredIdentityCertException error.

  • Subscription status is "Unknown".
