What is the exact policy of reject_username in /etc/pam.d/system-auth?
Issue
- # man pam_cracklib manual shows the explanation of its option
man pam_cracklib
reject_username
Check whether the name of the user in straight or reversed form is
contained in the new password. If it is found the new password is
rejected.
- The question is that if the name of the user contains only some letters out of among itself,
does the option "reject_username" affect properly?
Environment
