  • systemd-journald does not resume automatically after failed rotation (no free disk space)
  • journal: ensure open journals from find_journal()
  • journal: ensure open journals from find_journal()
  • When /var file system fills, systemd-journald fails to recover on its own once space is made available again. The following events are system in dmesg or systemd-journald
        systemd-journald[685]: Failed to create new system journal: No space left on device
        systemd-journald[685]: Failed to create new user journal: No space left on device
        systemd-journald[685]: Failed to open system journal: No space left on device
