Openssh-server update results a default "UseDNS no" configuration

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • We are using SSH authorized keys with "from=" identifiers. Prior to 7.4, the login functions correctly, however, after the 7.4 update we are no longer able to login to other hosts. In this instance, the following error is visible:
Authentication tried for root with correct key but not from a permitted host (host=<connecting host ip address>, ip=<connecting host IP address>).

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
    • openssh-server-7.4p1-11.el7
