How to prefill JDBC datasource connection pools at start-up in JBoss EAP

Issue

  • How can a JDBC datasource be pre-filled at JBoss start-up? (i.e. populated with connections before an application requests one)
  • WARN [org.jboss.resource.connectionmanager.JBossManagedConnectionPool] (main:) Prefill pool option was selected for pool with JNDI name null that does not support this feature.
