Users can no longer access our webserver using HTTPS after they upgraded to latest Google Chrome browser.

Issue

After users upgraded their Google Chrome browser to version 58 or later, they can no longer access our HTTPS secured website. Instead they get the following error returned:

 NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

  • Any HTTPS enabled webserver
