Apache httpd AH02429: Response header name 'Document Expires' contains invalid characters, aborting request

Issue

After updating to httpd-2.4.6-45.el7_3.4.x86_64, requests are failing with HTTP 500 errors with error message like the followings:

[http:error] [pid <PID>] [client <IP>:<PORT>] AH02429: Response header name 'Document Expires' contains invalid characters, aborting request
[http:error] [pid <PID>] [client <IP>:<PORT>] AH02430: Response header 'Cache-Control' value of 'must-revalidate, post-check=0,pre-check=\n\t\t0' contains invalid characters, aborting request

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7
  • httpd-2.4.6-45.el7_3.4.x86_64 or later
