On RHEL5.3, LVM commands hanging when scanning multipath devices on bootup after a crash.
Issue
- LVM logical volumes failed to mount on bootup after machine crashed due to a power outage. Couldnot upload sosreport because it is hanging on running LVM commands.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3
- LVM physical volumes accessed via multipath devices.
