"inotify_add_watch(7, /dev/sdX1, 10) failed: No such file or directory" and "error: /dev/sdX1: No such file or directory" messages

Issue

• When booting a RHEL 7 machine with multipathd, we see these messages in journalctl. Nevertheless, 'parted' and 'lsblk' report the partitions as existing in the devices.
