How to connect to rhevm-shell in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization ?
Issue
- Unable to connect to rhevm-shell locally on the
RHEV-Manager
. - Getting the following errors while trying to connect:

[RHEVM shell (disconnected)]# connect --url "https://rhevm.example.com:443/api" --user "admin@internal" --password 'redhat'
error: server CA certificate file must be specified for SSL secured connection.
- Not sure about the location of the CA certificate file and how it needs to be passed to connect to the rhevm-shell.
- Tried providing the CA certifcate file as
/etc/pki/ovirt-engine/certs/engine.cer
and then tried to connect.
