Does Bind support TXT records content larger than 255 characters?

When creating a TXT Resource Record in
bind 9.8.2there's an errorinvalid rdata format: ran out of space. -
When creating a TXT Resource Record in
bind 9.11.20it fails to start with the errordns_rdata_fromtext: example.db:XX: syntax error
