Qemu upgrade via RHSA-2016-1756 on OSP7/8 breaks migration of instances with "Virtqueue size exceeded" error
Issue
- After upgrading to
qemu-kvm-rhev-2.3.0-31.el7_2.21.x86_64instances after live migration are crashing with error:qemu-kvm: Virtqueue size exceeded: this package is shipped via RHSA-2016-1756 to fix CVE-2016-5403. - Instances migrated with
nova live-migration --block-migrateend in status STOPPED on target compute. - Live migrating instances with block-migrate end in Stopped state on target node.
