• Why does the 32 bit version of Oracle Database Client 12.1.0.2 fail to install on RHEL 7?

• Why does sqlplus in the 32 bit version of Oracle Database Client 12.1.0.2 segfault on RHEL 7?

  $ sqlplus /nolog
  Segmentation fault
  

• Not able to run 32 bit Oracle 12c client - Segmentation fault (core dumped).

  $ /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/client_32/bin/sqlplus
  Segmentation fault (core dumped)
  $
  

• Problem with Oracle 12.1.0.2 Pro*C/C++ Precompiler.

  $ /opt/oracle/product/12.1.0/proc32/proc test
