Why Ctrl+C is not working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7?

Issue

  • When press Ctrl+C to terminate/kill running command session (Example : tail -f /var/adm/messages), The Ctrl+C command is not killing tail command and session is not terminate and I am able to return to bash shell.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
