Issue

• After installing python27 software collection, I am still getting the older version of python on system.

  # rpm -q python27-python
  python27-python-2.7.8-16.el6.x86_64
  # python --version
  Python 2.6.6
  

• g++ compiler shows RHEL 7 compiler version even after having devtoolset-4-gcc-c++ installed.

  # g++ -v

• How can I make gcc installed from Developer Toolset as default compiler? Currently I have to use the absolute path /opt/rh/devtoolset-4/root/usr/bin/gcc

• Installing PHP module named apc from php54-php-pecl-apc does not appear in the list of PHP modules.
