Port offsets within EAP 6
Issue
- How to run a server with two JBoss EAP 6.0 instances on it? The port offsets configuration has changed dramatically since the last version, and user would like to know how to change one or both of the servers binding ports.
- Is there any recommendations for running multiple instances of JBoss EAP in single server in production and development?
- How to access to our application? Is there no HTTP port available in the hosts?
- how to change the default local host and default ports after installation of EAP ?
- Getting the following error :
05:01:02,786 ERROR [org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol] (MSC service thread 1-3) Error initializing endpoint: java.net.BindException: Address already in use /127.0.0.1:8380
- We want to host multiple host on the same physical Linux server. Can we keep the all ports consistence across the each Jboss6.3 server on the same physical Linux server
without changing other Jboss6.3 property/configuration files - Can JBoss EAP 6.x installed with JBoss EAP 5.x in the same server.
- There is a JBoss EAP 5.1 installed in our server. Is it possible to install othere EAP 6.x in the same server? If yes, do I simply use to use the following setting in EAP 6.x.
-Djboss.socket.binding.port-offset=100
- Is there a possiblilty to have multiple Jboss App ie., EAP 5.2 and 6 in one Redhat Linux server. If yes, how?
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 6.x
