catalina.out is empty in RHEL 7 Tomcat 7.0.54
Issue
- After updating to Tomcat on RHEL 7 to version 7.0.54-1, catalina.out is empty now on all servers.
- We had to downgrade to Tomcat version 7.0.42-8.
- Data not written to file catalina.out
- After executing a
kill -3orkill -QUIT, the thread dumps are not written to catalina.out
