How to tune the DNS client resolver library through /etc/resolv.conf
Issue
- If multiple nameservers are configured in
/etc/resolv.confand the first one is unreachable for any reason, each hostname lookup operation slows down - How do I shorten the amount of time (timeout) before the resolver fails over to a different DNS server?
- How do I shorten the amount of attempts the resolver makes before giving up?
