Setting ONBOOT=no is not valid for interfaces aliases

Issue

  • Setting ONBOOT=no in the configuration file for interfaces aliases (eg, eth0:1) is not respected. When the parent (Eg, eth0) is brought up the alias is always brought up on system reboot or on restarting network service.
