Issue

Is it possible to customize the cifs timeout value ?
Is it possible to make cifs timeout configurable like in case of nfs ?
/sys/module/cifs/parameters/echo_retries is missing in newer RHEL 6 kernels, what is the alternate option to change CIFS timeout value ?
Upstream has CIFS echo_interval mount option, is this in RHEL?
